也斯（梁秉鈞，1949–2013），詩人、小說家同學者，長期喺香港大學同嶺南大學任教比較文學。佢嘅詩寫電車、茶餐廳同市集，小說寫食物同遷徙，將香港混雜嘅文化唔當係問題，而係一種獨特嘅美學。佢係香港文化研究同後殖民論述嘅先行者，經常被引用嘅命題「香港的故事為什麼這麼難說」，成為理解香港文化身份嘅關鍵一句。2011年獲頒香港藝術發展獎終身成就獎。

Leung Ping-kwan, known by his pen name Jaes (也斯, 1949-2013), was a poet, novelist and scholar who taught comparative literature at the University of Hong Kong and Lingnan University. His writing — from poems on tram rides to stories about restaurants and migration — treats Hong Kong's mixed culture not as a confusion but as a distinct aesthetic. He was a pioneer of Hong Kong cultural studies and postcolonial thought.
