Susie Au is a highly influential Hong Kong director known for her avant-garde and aesthetically refined visual style. A graduate of the State University of New York's film school, she is a leading figure of Hong Kong's first generation of music video directors. In the 1990s, she directed numerous iconic music videos for superstars like Faye Wong, Jacky Cheung, and Eason Chan, redefining the artistic standards of the medium. Her creative work also spans across film, advertising, stage art, and photography. In 2006, her feature film "Ming Ming" was selected for several international film festivals, showcasing her unique cinematic aesthetics.
