李小龍1940年喺美國三藩市出世，喺香港長大，十三歲跟葉問學習詠春拳。1959年返美國後喺華盛頓大學修讀哲學，創立截拳道，將武術提升至哲學層次。1971年回港主演《唐山大兄》一炮而紅，其後《精武門》《猛龍過江》連破票房紀錄，1973年《龍爭虎鬥》令佢成為首位喺西方擔正嘅華人巨星。同年七月佢突然離世，終年32歲。佢重塑咗世界對中國功夫同華人形象嘅認知，至今仍是全球最具影響力嘅武術家同流行文化偶像。

Bruce Lee, born in San Francisco in 1940 and raised in Hong Kong, began studying Wing Chun under Yip Man at thirteen. Moving to the United States in 1959, he studied philosophy at the University of Washington and developed Jeet Kune Do. Returning to Hong Kong in 1971, The Big Boss, Fist of Fury and Way of the Dragon shattered box-office records, and Enter the Dragon (1973) made him the first Chinese superstar of Western cinema. His sudden death in July 1973, aged 32, cut short a career that permanently transformed global perceptions of martial arts and the Chinese image.
