張寶堅1934年出世，藝名楚原，祖籍廣東梅縣，香港導演、編劇兼演員，父親係粵語片同電視演員張活游。佢1950年代入行，初期以粵語片為主，1973年執導《七十二家房客》，重振香港粵語電影嘅製作。投身邵氏後佢專攻武俠片，尤擅改編古龍小說，同李翰祥、胡金銓、張徹並稱邵氏「四大帥」。畢生執導近130部電影，1998年獲金像獎專業精神獎，2018年獲第37屆香港電影金像獎終身成就獎，2022年逝世。

Cheung Po-kin (1934–2022), known professionally as Chor Yuen, was a Hong Kong director, screenwriter and actor and the son of Cantonese film and television actor Cheung Wood-yau. Entering the industry in the 1950s, he directed The House of 72 Tenants (1973), which revived Cantonese-language film production, then joined Shaw Brothers to specialise in martial-arts pictures, above all adaptations of Gu Long's novels. Named one of Shaw's 'Four Great Directors' alongside Li Han-hsiang, King Hu and Chang Cheh, he directed nearly 130 films and received the HKFA Professional Spirit Award (1998) and Lifetime Achievement Award (2018).
