湯家驊

湯家驊（1950年出世），係香港資深大律師同政治人物。佢早年就讀香港大學同牛津大學，1975年取得大律師資格，1990年成為資深大律師。1999年至2001年，湯家驊擔任香港大律師公會主席。佢係公民黨嘅創黨成員，2004年至2016年間擔任立法會新界東議員。2015年，因為喺政制改革方案上同公民黨意見分歧，湯家驊退出公民黨，其後成立智庫「民主思路」。2017年，佢獲委任為行政會議非官守議員至今。湯家驊亦係全國人大常委會香港特別行政區基本法委員會委員。

Ronny Tong Ka-wah, born in 1950, is a Hong Kong senior counsel and politician. He was educated at the University of Hong Kong and Oxford, and was called to the Bar in 1975, taking silk in 1990. He served as chairman of the Hong Kong Bar Association from 1999 to 2001. Tong was a founding member of the Civic Party and served as a Legislative Council member for the New Territories East constituency from 2004 to 2016. In 2015 he left the Civic Party over differences on the 2014 constitutional reform proposal and later founded the think tank Path of Democracy. In 2017 he was appointed to the Executive Council as a non-official member, a position he continues to hold. Tong is also a member of the Committee for the Basic Law of the HKSAR under the NPCSC.
