Wang Ziming (born 23 September 1974) is a Hong Kong film and television director and producer. He is the son of the veteran Hong Kong producer Chui Po-chu, who helped plan and produce such classics as Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Fearless and Kung Fu Hustle and was a long-time friend of Jet Li. In 2013 Wang made his feature debut with Badges of Fury, produced by his mother and starring Jet Li and Wen Zhang, with cameos by a raft of stars including Huang Xiaoming, Tong Dawei, Michael Tse, Kevin Cheng and Raymond Lam; the picture was produced by Beijing Enlight Pictures with Hong Kong Pictures International. He has since worked largely in the mainland market as a director and producer, with television dramas such as The Warm Chord among his credits. Wang's work tends towards comedy, suspense and urban romance on a fairly large scale, and, supported by his family's standing and industry connections, he is one of the Hong Kong-trained directors who have built careers on the mainland. As little has been published about his personal life, his early years and full body of work remain to be established.
