袁浩泉1950年出世，活躍喺1970至1980年代，身兼香港導演、演員，做過亞洲電視劇集監製。早喺1960年代，佢已經演出麗的呼聲嘅廣播劇，又喺麗的映聲做主持，同時兼顧幕後。1973年佢正式入麗的電視；1975至1977年間編導過《大丈夫》、《大件事》、《三兄弟》、《十大騙案》同《大家姐與大狂魔》等劇集，而後來做咗著名監製嘅王心慰，當時就係佢手下嘅助理編導。1978年離開麗的之後，佢簽約邵氏兄弟，並執導首部電影《漩渦》；1982年起出任品質控制經理兼製作經理，做到1985年。之後佢為麥當雄嘅電影公司擔任製作經理，1986至1989年重回亞洲電視做劇集監製。

Born in 1950, Yuen Ho-chuen was a Hong Kong director, actor and ATV producer active in the 1970s and 80s. He performed in radio drama at Rediffusion in the 1960s and worked as a host and behind the scenes at RTV, formally joining the station in 1973. Between 1975 and 1977 he directed series including Ten Great Swindles and Big Family, during which the future producer Wong Sum-wai served as his assistant director. He left RTV in 1978, directed his first feature Whirlpool and signed with Shaw Brothers, serving as quality-control and production manager from 1982 to 1985. He later production-managed for Johnny Mak's company and produced series at ATV from 1986 to 1989.
