油尖旺位於九龍半島西南部，面向維多利亞港，由油麻地、尖沙咀、旺角、佐敦、大角咀及太子組成。區內以填海地及高密度市區為主，北部與深水埗區接壤。

Yau Tsim Mong occupies the south-west of the Kowloon Peninsula, facing Victoria Harbour. It comprises Yau Ma Tei, Tsim Sha Tsui, Mong Kok, Jordan, Tai Kok Tsui and Prince Edward. The district is mostly reclaimed, high-density urban land, bordering Sham Shui Po to the north.

尖沙咀是九龍最早發展的港口地區。九廣鐵路尖沙咀總站於 1916 年建成，其鐘樓是九龍標誌，車站現已遷至紅磡並改建為文化中心。旺角是香港人口密度最高的地區之一，早於 1930 年代已發展為商業區。油麻地避風塘及廟街一帶是傳統市井文化集中地。

Tsim Sha Tsui was the earliest developed port area of Kowloon. The former Kowloon–Canton Railway terminus opened in 1916; its clock tower is an icon, and the station was later replaced by the Cultural Centre after services moved to Hung Hom. Mong Kok is among the most densely populated areas in Hong Kong and was already a commercial district by the 1930s. The Yau Ma Tei typhoon shelter and Temple Street preserve the district’s market culture.

港鐵荃灣線設尖沙咀、佐敦、油麻地、旺角站；觀塘線及東鐵線經旺角東及太子；屯馬線設柯士甸及尖東站。東涌線、機場快線及西九龍站高速鐵路總站位於九龍站一帶。天星小輪由尖沙咀碼頭往中環及灣仔。

The Tsuen Wan Line serves Tsim Sha Tsui, Jordan, Yau Ma Tei and Mong Kok; the Kwun Tong and East Rail lines pass through Prince Edward and Mong Kok East; the Tuen Ma Line stops at Austin and East Tsim Sha Tsui. Tung Chung Line, Airport Express and the West Kowloon high-speed rail terminus cluster around Kowloon Station. The Star Ferry links Tsim Sha Tsui pier with Central and Wan Chai.
