卓翔喺香港出世，讀過香港演藝學院嘅電影電視系，做過電影同廣告副導演。佢主力拍戲曲題材紀錄片：《乾旦路》同《一個武生》寫粵劇、崑劇演員嘅堅持，第三部《戲棚》獲提名第56屆金馬獎嘅最佳紀錄片，以及第39屆香港電影金像獎新晉導演，並奪得第16屆香港藝術發展獎藝術家年獎（電影）。2023年佢首次拍劇集《島嶼協奏曲》，2024年喺ViuTV播映。

Born in Hong Kong and trained at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, Norris Cheuk worked as an assistant director in film and advertising before focusing on documentaries about Chinese opera: One Man Show and My Way follow Cantonese and Kunqu performers. His third feature, Bamboo Theatre, was nominated for Best Documentary at the 56th Golden Horse Awards and Best New Director at the 39th Hong Kong Film Awards, and won the HKADC Artist of the Year Award (Film). In 2023 he directed his first television series.
