1975年出世嘅彭秀慧，係香港跨媒體藝術工作者——編、導、演、教一手包辦。佢由舞台劇演員出身，之後自編自導自演兼監製一系列劇場作品，以獨立知性女生嘅形象活躍喺香港各類媒體。2008年佢憑第二齣獨腳戲《再見不再見》獲香港舞台劇獎最佳女主角（喜／鬧劇）；2014年當選香港十大傑出青年；2017年喺法國尼斯國際影展獲最佳導演（外語劇情片）。2018年佢首次執導嘅《29+1》為佢贏得第37屆香港電影金像獎新晉導演；2022年第二部作品《阿媽有咗第二個》票房接近四千三百萬，排該年十大香港電影票房第三位。

Born in 1975, Kearen Pang is a Hong Kong cross-media artist who writes, directs, performs and teaches — starting as a stage actress and going on to produce a series of one-woman shows she wrote and directed herself. Her second solo play won her Best Actress (Comedy/Farce) at the Hong Kong Drama Awards in 2008; she was named one of the Ten Outstanding Young Persons of Hong Kong in 2014 and won best director (foreign-language drama) at the Nice International Film Festival in 2017. Her debut feature 29+1 won Best New Director at the 37th Hong Kong Film Awards, and her second, Mama's Affair (2022), took nearly HK$43 million.
