沈鑒治1929年出世，筆名孔在齊，做過香港《信報財經新聞》總編輯，亦係資深樂評人兼作家。佢喺上海租界出世；1938年日軍侵華，佢隨家人避戰嚟到香港，中學讀拔萃男書院；1949年喺上海聖約翰大學畢業後返港工作。1956年佢入麗的呼聲電台做節目編導，同時兼顧麗的映聲電視台嘅籌備工作；1957年麗的映聲啟播，佢曾署理電視節目監督一職。離開電視台之後，佢去新新電影企業做經理兼編導及導演，之後轉投鳳凰影業當導演。1966年後佢轉到政府工作，參與籌建香港生產力促進局，並曾被派駐日本；1986年返港出任《信報》總編輯。佢喺2019年逝世，終年90歲。

Born in 1929 and writing as Hung Chai-chai, Shum Kim-chi was editor-in-chief of Hong Kong Economic Journal, a veteran music critic and author. Born in Shanghai's foreign concessions, he fled the Japanese invasion to Hong Kong in 1938 and attended Diocesan Boys' School; after graduating from St. John's University in 1949 he returned to work in Hong Kong. Joining Rediffusion in 1956 as a programme director, he helped prepare the launch of RTV's television service in 1957 and briefly served as acting programme controller. He then worked as manager, editor-director and director at Sun Sun and later Phoenix, before moving to government in 1966 to help establish the Hong Kong Productivity Council and being posted to Japan. He became editor-in-chief of the Hong Kong Economic Journal in 1986 and died in 2019 aged 90.
