盧敦1911年喺廣州出世，籍貫廣東新會，係香港著名演員、編劇、導演兼製片人。佢早年喺廣州組織話劇團，1932年開始拍電影，1936年喺香港定居；一生演出過一百二十部以上電影，七八十年代亦有份演電視劇。1987年佢聯同吳回、姜中平、朱克、查良景等人合辦非牟利嘅業餘劇團「香港影視劇團」。1998年獲頒香港電影金紫荊獎嘅終身成就獎；2000年佢喺廣華醫院逝世，享壽90歲。

Born in Guangzhou in 1911 to a Xinhui family, Lo Duen was a leading Hong Kong actor, screenwriter, director and producer. He formed a theatre troupe in Guangzhou, became a film actor in 1932 and settled in Hong Kong in 1936, appearing in more than 120 films and later in television during the 1970s and 80s. In 1987 he co-founded the non-profit Hong Kong Film and Television Theatre Troupe with colleagues including Ng Wui. He received the Golden Bauhinia Award for Lifetime Achievement in 1998 and died in 2000 aged 90.
