1950年出世，黃泰來係香港電影監製、編劇同導演，父親為1960年代粵語片導演黃堯；佢同歌手兼演員劉美君曾經係夫妻，1982年結婚、1992年離婚，兩人育有一子一女。佢早年喺麗的電視同佳藝電視做編導，1980年代轉拍電影，經典作包括《法內情》、《我在黑社會的日子》、《刀劍笑》同《緣份》等。除咗導演工作，佢亦試過用筆名「某人」寫粵語流行曲歌詞，1987年嘅藍戰士《豈有此理》同劉美君《自甘墮落》都係佢嘅作品。佢喺2025年7月16日因為喉癌逝世，享年75歲。

Born in 1950, Taylor Wong Tai-loi was a Hong Kong film director, writer and producer, son of 1960s Cantonese-film director Wong Yiu and former husband of singer-actress Prudence Liew — married in 1982, divorced in 1992, with two children. He began as a director at Commercial Television and RTV before moving into film in the 1980s, directing films such as Behind the Yellow Line, Law or Justice, Triads: The Inside Story and The Sword Stained with Royal Blood. Under the pen name 'So-and-so' he also wrote Cantonese pop lyrics, including Blue Jeans' 1987 hit How Can This Be. He died of throat cancer on 16 July 2025 aged 75.
