消失嘅地方
Vanished places — every entry the archive itself describes as gone
香港嘅海岸線、建築、村落同名勝一路變。呢一頁唔係憑記憶列名單，而係把志錄36501 條原子事實裏面，原文自己講「填海」「拆卸」「遷界」「重建」嘅408 條抽出來，按四個類別排好，再按地方聚一次。 逐條都係《香港志》原文＋原書頁碼，可以逐條引用。
The coast, the buildings, the villages and the landmarks kept changing. Rather than listing names from memory, this page pulls the 408 archive entries whose own text says reclamation, demolition, evacuation or rebuilding out of 36501 atomic facts, sorts them into 4 classes and groups them by place. Every entry keeps its original wording, book page and citation.
四個類別
Four classes — defined by the words the entries themselves use
類別嘅界線寫死喺登記冊：每類只認自己嘅命中字串，一條條目只入第一個命中嘅類別， 所以四類相加等於 408 條，唔會重複計。同時命中多類嘅有 19 條——呢個數照樣列出， 唔會靜靜地當佢哋只屬一類。
海岸線：填海
Coastline: reclamation
原文出現「填海」二字嘅條目：海面變成陸地，原本嘅海岸線後移。條目包括規劃、工程、面積同用途嘅官方記述——所以「填海」講嘅係海岸線改變，唔一定等於「呢塊地以前有人住」。
建築物：拆卸與清拆
Buildings: demolition and clearance
原文出現「拆卸」「清拆」「夷平」嘅條目：建築物或設施喺原址消失。呢類最直接——同一塊地之後起咗咩，通常另有一條條目。
村落：遷界與搬村
Villages: evacuation and resiting
原文出現「遷界」「遷村」「搬村」嘅條目：村落被清空、居民被遷走，或者整條村搬去另一個位置。清初遷界令嘅條目佔當中一大部分，但亦有戰後新界搬村嘅紀錄。
原址：重建與改建
Same site: rebuilding and conversion
原文出現「重建」「改建」嘅條目：地方仍然喺度，但原本嘅建築、佈局或者用途已經被取代。呢類最容易被誤會成「冇消失」——消失嘅係原貌，唔係地名。
分類係按志錄原文關鍵詞機械歸類，唔係編採判斷，亦唔係官方「消失清單」；關鍵詞命中唔等於當局認定嗰個地方消失。
The classes come from literal keyword matches on the archive text, not editorial judgement and not any official list of vanished places; a match does not mean an authority has declared the place gone.
一條條目只入第一個命中嘅類別（次序：填海、拆卸清拆、遷界遷村、重建改建），所以各類相加等於總數；同時命中多類嘅條目另外報數，唔會靜靜地漏。
Each entry joins only the first class it matches (reclamation, then demolition, then village resiting, then rebuilding), so the class counts add up to the total; entries matching several classes are reported separately rather than dropped.
志錄只收已出版卷冊，所以某一類、某個年代條目多，反映收錄密度，唔等於當時消失得特別多；未出版卷冊嘅同類紀錄未喺呢頁出現。
The archive only holds published volumes, so a busy class or decade reflects collection density rather than how much disappeared at the time; comparable records in unpublished volumes are absent from this page.
「重建」「改建」一類入面，地方仍然存在——消失嘅係原貌、佈局或者用途，唔係地名。
In the rebuilding class the place still exists: what vanished is the original form, layout or use, not the name.
地方榜只計具體地名；「香港」「九龍」「新界」一類泛指條目照樣計入類別條數，但唔會入榜（否則一個泛指地名會蓋過全部）。
The place board counts specific place names only; entries whose place is a broad label such as Hong Kong, Kowloon or the New Territories still count towards their class but never enter the board.
呢一頁列全量條目，冇抽樣：抽樣規則只適用於標籤軸同十年切片，因為嗰兩層嘅條目本來就遠多於一頁。

志錄總數 36501 條，呢頁只取 408 條；其餘條目照樣喺年份頁、十年切片、標籤軸 同 實體軸 出現。 呢一頁只係多一個入口，冇取代任何一層，亦冇改動任何條目。
