    開埠與條約 / Port and treaties

    第二次鴉片戰爭（亞羅號戰爭）爆發 / Second Opium War (Arrow War) breaks out

    1856 年 10 月，中國水師登船搜查香港註冊船隻「亞羅號」，引發第二次中英戰爭（又稱亞羅號戰爭），戰事持續至 1860 年《北京條約》簽訂。

    In October 1856, Chinese officials boarded the Hong Kong-registered ship Arrow, triggering the Second Anglo-Chinese War (Arrow War), which ended with the 1860 Convention of Peking.
