香港大學成立 / University of Hong Kong founded
1887 年成立的香港華人西醫書院（孫中山為首兩名學生之一）於 1911 年擴展為香港大學。
The College of Medicine for the Chinese (1887), with Sun Yat-sen among its first two students, developed into the University of Hong Kong in 1911.

香港首次動力飛行 / First powered flight in Hong Kong
機場管理局時間線：1911 年 3 月 18 日，比利時飛行員 Charles Van den Born 駕駛「沙田之靈」在沙田起飛，為本港首次動力飛行。
Airport Authority timeline: on 18 March 1911 Belgian pilot Charles Van den Born flew the “Spirit of Sha Tin” from a makeshift strip in Sha Tin—Hong Kong’s first powered flight.
