英國正式接收九龍半島 / Britain formally takes over Kowloon Peninsula
1860 年《北京條約》割讓九龍半島南端後，英國於 1861 年正式接收九龍（界限街以南連同昂船洲），香港管轄範圍由港島擴展至九龍。
Following the 1860 Convention of Peking ceding the southern Kowloon Peninsula, Britain formally took over Kowloon (south of Boundary Street plus Stonecutters Island) in 1861, extending Hong Kong’s jurisdiction from Hong Kong Island to Kowloon.
