The Inland Revenue Department's annual report provides audited figures for revenue and demand notes. Total tax revenue in FY2025-26 was HK$458.3 billion. In FY2024-25 the IRD issued 147,974 profits-tax demand notes to corporations and 1,772,009 salaries-tax demand notes, indicating the size of the tax base. This site has not yet recorded the full historical series of fiscal reserves, the precise share of each tax in total government revenue, or land-premium/stamp-duty breakdowns — these are deliberately left blank, with the Treasury's annual report and Budget annexes as official sources. Tax revenue as an input to public spending links this collection to the civil-service theme of establishment and payroll costs.
