「訪港旅客」來自政府統計處旅遊統計，計算來港訪問的旅客人次。這與「按交通模式劃分的抵港旅客」不同：後者包含香港居民返港及過關客流，數字會大得多。 2025 年訪港旅客 4 989.5 萬人次，其中按國籍／地區劃分，中國內地為 3 783.4 萬。2024 年 10 月 16 日起取消旅客抵港或離港申報表後，「居住地」數列不再編製，統計處改按國籍／地區分類。 2025 年年底持牌酒店 333 間、93 472 個房間，全年入住率 87%。賓館是另一套牌照（1 234 間、11 463 個房間，入住率 68%），不可與酒店加總當成「住宿供應」。

“Visitor arrivals” is the Census and Statistics Department tourism series. It is not the same as arrivals by mode of transport, which includes returning residents and is much larger. Visitor arrivals in 2025 were 49.895 million, of which 37.834 million were classified under Chinese Mainland nationality/region. After arrival and departure cards were abolished on 16 October 2024, place-of-residence data stopped, and the table switched to nationality/region. At end-2025 there were 333 licensed hotels with 93,472 rooms and a whole-year occupancy rate of 87%. Guesthouses are a separate licence class (1,234 premises, 11,463 rooms, 68% occupancy) and must not be added to hotels as a single accommodation supply.
