香港的公共運輸包括鐵路（港鐵）、巴士、專線小巴、的士、電車、渡輪及安老／居民巴士等。政府統計處公布的是「公共交通乘客人次」合計，而不是單一營辦商的載客量。 2025 年年底，路政署維修的公共道路長 2 269 公里。領牌車輛總數 81.3 萬輛，其中私家車 58.5 萬輛；電動私家車 14.2 萬輛，汽油私家車 43.3 萬輛。 客運進出方面，2025 年抵港旅客 1.673 億人次（按交通模式合計，含陸路），其中陸路 1.403 億、空路 2 295 萬、海路 406 萬。這是出入境旅客流量，不是訪港旅遊人數；訪港旅客 2025 年為 4 989.5 萬人次。香港國際機場位於離島區大嶼山北部赤鱲角。

Public transport includes the MTR railway, buses, public light buses, taxis, trams, ferries and other licensed services. The Census and Statistics Department figure is total public-transport journeys, not the ridership of one operator. At end-2025, public roads maintained by the Highways Department measured 2,269 km. There were 813,000 licensed vehicles, including 585,000 private cars — 142,000 electric and 433,000 petrol. Passenger arrivals in 2025 totalled 167.3 million by all modes, including 140.3 million by land, 22.95 million by air and 4.06 million by sea. That is cross-boundary passenger flow, not visitor arrivals. Visitor arrivals in 2025 were 49.895 million. Hong Kong International Airport is at Chek Lap Kok, on northern Lantau in the Islands District.
