賽馬是香港最受關注嘅體育活動。跑馬地馬場（1840 年代開始賽馬）是香港首個馬場；沙田馬場（1978 年啟用）是主要賽事場地。香港賽馬會是法定慈善機構，馬季由九月至翌年七月。 足球是本地最受歡迎嘅團體運動，香港大球場（掃桿埔）是主要場地。龍舟競渡是端午節傳統，赤柱、西貢、大澳等地每年舉辦賽事。單車運動近年成績突出，香港單車館（將軍澳）設有室內單車場。 康文署管理多個體育館、游泳池同運動場。香港運動員在奧運、亞運等國際賽事屢獲佳績。 本站只寫有官方來源嘅體育設施同統計；個別賽事結果唔會收錄。

Horse racing is Hong Kong’s most followed sport. Happy Valley Racecourse (racing from the 1840s) was the first track; Sha Tin Racecourse (opened 1978) hosts the main meetings. The Hong Kong Jockey Club is a statutory charity; the season runs from September to July. Football is the most popular team sport, with the Hong Kong Stadium (So Kon Po) as the main venue. Dragon boat racing is a Tuen Ng tradition, with races at Stanley, Sai Kung, Tai O and elsewhere. Cycling has produced notable international results; the Hong Kong Velodrome in Tseung Kwan O has an indoor track. The LCSD manages sports centres, swimming pools and stadiums. Hong Kong athletes have won medals at the Olympics, Asian Games and other international events.
