香港時間 1941 年 12 月 8 日，日軍取道中國大陸進攻；守軍於聖誕日投降。日本佔領三年八個月。
Japanese forces attacked on 8 December 1941 (Hong Kong time). The defenders surrendered on Christmas Day. The occupation lasted three years and eight months.
