    日軍投降與軍政府 / Japanese surrender and military government

    1945 年 8 月 15 日日本宣布投降後，布政司詹森組織臨時政府；8 月 30 日夏慤率艦隊抵港成立臨時軍政府。1946 年 5 月 1 日恢復民政統治。

    After Japan’s surrender on 15 August 1945, a provisional government was formed; Rear Admiral Harcourt arrived on 30 August. Civil government was restored on 1 May 1946.
