引入海水沖廁系統 / Seawater flushing introduced
水務署：1957 年建議在石硤尾、李鄭屋等徙置區安裝海水沖廁；其後擴展全港。署方寫現時覆蓋約全港八成半人口。
WSD: seawater flushing was proposed in 1957 for dense resettlement areas and later extended; WSD states coverage now reaches about 85% of the population.
