    緊急救護併入消防隊 / Ambulance services merge into Fire Brigade

    消防處：1953 年 7 月 1 日醫務署把救護車輛及人員調撥予消防隊，為現時救護總區奠立基礎。

    FSD: on 1 July 1953 the then Medical Department transferred ambulance vehicles and staff to the Fire Brigade, laying the foundation of today’s Ambulance Command.
