    東華醫院創立 / Tung Wah Hospital founded

    1872 年東華醫院由華商集資創立，係香港首間由華人主辦嘅慈善醫院，提供中醫治療同社會服務，反映華人社團自我管理能力。

    Founded in 1872 by Chinese merchants, Tung Wah Hospital was Hong Kong’s first Chinese-run charitable hospital, offering traditional Chinese medicine treatment and social services, reflecting the Chinese community’s capacity for self-governance.
