政府新聞公報：教統局與教育署於 2003 年 1 月 1 日重組合併，新組織仍稱教統局。教育局網頁亦載同一日期。

政府新聞公報：運輸署宣布西鐵於 2003 年 12 月 20 日下午 2 時通車。運輸及物流局《鐵路網絡》亦記西鐵線 2003 年啟用。
Government press release: TD announced West Rail would open at 2 p.m. on 20 December 2003. The TLB Railway Network sheet likewise records the West Rail Line opening in 2003.
