舉報罪案與被捕人數是兩套數字。2025 年舉報罪案 89 137 宗（暴力 8 823、非暴力 80 314），整體罪案率每十萬人 1 189，暴力罪案率 118。犯罪被捕 31 082 人；被捕比率按每十萬名 10 歲及以上人口計算，與整體罪案率分母不同，不可直接對比。
本站不把單一罪名或分區罪案寫上，除非再 ingest 警方分類表。
警務處每年出版《香港警務處年報》及《罪案情況統計摘要》，按罪類分組（例如暴力、欺詐、盜竊、毒品、與電腦相關）及分區公布詳細統計，並列舉少年被捕人數、自願獻身計劃人數、舉報虐待兒童或長者等專項數字。此等按罪類、按區、按年齡群組的分佈統計目前未在本站獨立點算。
涉及民間團體或即時政黨動態、社會運動等具爭議的內容，本站不提供主觀評價或觀點引述；治安統計只引用警務處或政府統計處的官方已公布數字，不作未經核實的新聞式轉述。

Reported crimes and arrests are different series. In 2025 there were 89,137 reported crimes (8,823 violent, 80,314 non-violent). The overall rate was 1,189 per 100,000 population and the violent-crime rate 118. Persons arrested numbered 31,082; that rate uses the population aged 10 and over, so it is not comparable with the overall crime rate.
Offence-by-offence or district crime tables are not copied until a police statistical table is ingested.
The Hong Kong Police Force issues an annual *Review* and *Crime Situation Statistical Digest*, with detailed figures by offence group (violent, deception, theft, drug, computer-related, etc.), by district and with dedicated sub-series on juvenile arrest counts, voluntary surrender numbers and reports of child or elder abuse. Such distributions by offence type, by district and by age cohort are not yet tallied independently on this site.
Content touching on NGOs, real-time party activity, social movements or other controversies is not given subjective appraisal or quoted as opinion here; public-order statistics only cite releases already published by the Police Force or the Census and Statistics Department, and are never paraphrased from unverified news copy.
Official hard figures not yet recorded (all carry an explicit year): (1) HKPF crime distributions by offence group (violent, deception, theft, drug, computer-related), by DC district and by age cohort, year by year; (2) yearly juvenile arrest numbers, voluntary surrender figures and child/elder abuse report counts; (3) HKPF region and district establishment headcounts, equipment issues and patrol frequencies (all as published in the annual Review); (4) Correctional Services Department prisoner numbers, rehabilitation-service throughput and grade establishment by year. Deliberately left blank: real-time party dynamics, on-the-ground protest observations and case speculations not published in writing by the Police Force are deliberately not cited.
