1899年4月19日，來自屯門及荃灣兩個地點的英方增援部隊登陸，其後與主力會師。同日，新界多條村落，涵蓋錦田、廈村與屏山，先後向英軍表達歸順之意。
On 19 April 1899, British reinforcements from Tuen Mun and Tsuen Wan landed and later joined the main force; on the same day, many villages in the New Territories, including Kam Tin, Ha Tsuen and Ping Shan, successively expressed submission to the British troops.

1931年，正聲吟社由張秋琴、譚荔垣與張雲飛共3人一同創立；同年4月19日辦雅集，1932年該社刊行詩鐘集，書名為《正聲吟社詩鐘集》。
In 1931, the Ching Sing Poetry Society was founded jointly by three people, Cheung Chau-kam, Tam Lai-woon and Cheung Wan-fei; a gathering was held on 19 April of the same year, and in 1932 the society published a collection of poetic couplets titled 《正聲吟社詩鐘集》.

1961年4月19日，一架屬於美軍的運輸機，機上載有16名官兵及隨行家屬，在濃霧環境中從啟德機場起飛，其後於港島東部撞向柏架山，造成14人死亡。
On 19 April 1961, a US military transport aircraft carrying 16 servicemen and accompanying family members took off from Kai Tak Airport in dense fog and subsequently crashed into Mount Parker in eastern Hong Kong Island, killing 14 people.
