香港有 25 個郊野公園和 22 個特別地區，合共 44 842 公頃；另有 8 個海岸公園及 1 個海岸保護區，海域 8 517 公頃。

漁農自然護理署按《郊野公園條例》管理郊野公園及特別地區。紅花嶺郊野公園於 2024 年 3 月 1 日劃定後，郊野公園增至 25 個，面積合計 43 997 公頃。22 個特別地區之中，公園範圍內 1 152 公頃已計入郊野公園面積；公園範圍外 845 公頃才另外加算，故合計 44 842 公頃。香港政府一站通寫郊野公園及特別地區約佔土地四成；精確公頃數以漁護署列表為準。2025 年郊野公園遊人約 1 100 萬人次。 四條長途遠足徑為官方表述：麥理浩徑由西貢至屯門；鳳凰徑環繞大嶼山；港島徑跨越港島五個郊野公園；衞奕信徑由赤柱至南涌。個別路徑長度、開放時間或山火封閉，本站未逐條核對，不填。 海岸公園按《海岸公園條例》指定。北大嶼海岸公園於 2024 年 11 月劃定後，共有 8 個海岸公園及 1 個海岸保護區（鶴咀），海域合計 8 517 公頃。海岸公園容許符合保育理念的康樂活動；海岸保護區禁止康樂活動。漁護署寫香港海洋總面積約 1 640 平方公里，與陸地總面積是兩套數字。 野生生態方面，漁護署每年進行野生猴子、野豬、紅樹林面積等普查，並逐年更新《香港物種名錄》已記錄的蝴蝶、鳥類、兩棲類、爬行類品種數目；中華白海豚、江豚等海洋哺乳類動物的年度擱淺及目擊記錄，亦由漁護署聯同香港海洋公園保育基金按年點算。此等生態普查數據有明確統計方法與年度，屬官方硬數據，目前本站未逐項獨立點算。 漁護署另一個可結構化的官方名錄是「香港原生植物圖鑑」與「受保護野生動物名錄」，按《野生動物保護條例》及《林區及郊區條例》的法定清單編排，並附物種評估級別（例如地區極危、易危等），適合按類別、評估級別批次加入，不需引入主觀描述。 仍未收錄的官方硬數據（全部有明確年度）：① 漁護署野生猴子、野豬、紅樹林面積按年普查數字 ② 《香港物種名錄》已記錄的蝴蝶、鳥類、兩棲類、爬行類品種數目按年 ③ 中華白海豚、江豚年度擱淺及目擊記錄 ④ 受保護野生動植物法定名錄按評估級別（極危、瀕危、易危、無危）分類數。刻意留白：未經漁護署確認的野生動物照片、民間觀察記錄、主觀物種豐富度評估一律唔引用。

The Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department manages country parks and special areas under the Country Parks Ordinance. After Robin’s Nest Country Park was designated on 1 March 2024 there are 25 country parks totalling 43,997 hectares. Of 22 special areas, 1,152 hectares inside parks are already in the park total; only the 845 hectares outside parks are added, giving 44,842 hectares combined. GovHK says country parks and special areas cover about 40% of the land; use the AFCD hectare table for the area. Country parks had about 11 million visitors in 2025. AFCD names four long-distance trails: MacLehose Trail from Sai Kung to Tuen Mun; Lantau Trail around Lantau; Hong Kong Trail across five Island country parks; Wilson Trail from Stanley to Nam Chung. Trail lengths, opening hours and fire closures are not copied here until checked park by park. Marine parks are designated under the Marine Parks Ordinance. After North Lantau Marine Park in November 2024 there are 8 marine parks and 1 marine reserve (Cape D’Aguilar), covering 8,517 hectares of sea. Compatible recreation is generally allowed in marine parks and prohibited in the reserve. AFCD states a total sea area of about 1,640 km²; that is not added to land area here. On wildlife ecology, AFCD conducts annual censuses of rhesus macaques, wild boar and mangrove area, and updates the *Hong Kong Species List* each year with recorded counts of butterflies, birds, amphibians and reptiles. Yearly stranding and sighting records for Chinese white dolphins, Indo-Pacific finless porpoises and other marine mammals are also tallied by AFCD together with Ocean Park Conservation Foundation. These ecological census series have clear methodologies and clear yearly timestamps, qualifying as official hard figures; they are not yet independently tallied on this site. Another structured official directory maintained by AFCD is the *Hong Kong Native Plant Atlas* and the protected wildlife schedules under the *Wild Animals Protection Ordinance* and *Forests and Countryside Ordinance*, each with statutory conservation ranks such as Regionally Critically Endangered or Vulnerable. These schedules are suitable for batch inclusion by taxon and conservation status, without requiring subjective description. Official hard figures not yet recorded (all carry an explicit year): (1) AFCD yearly census data for rhesus macaque and wild boar populations together with mangrove area; (2) year-by-year counts of recorded butterfly, bird, amphibian and reptile species in the Hong Kong Species List; (3) annual stranding and sighting records for Chinese white dolphins and Indo-Pacific finless porpoises; (4) protected-wildlife statutory schedules broken down by IUCN-equivalent regional conservation rank (Critically Endangered, Endangered, Vulnerable, Least Concern). Deliberately left blank: unconfirmed wildlife photographs, private observer records and subjective species-richness assessments are deliberately not cited.
