香港有 25 個郊野公園和 22 個特別地區，合共 44 842 公頃；另有 8 個海岸公園及 1 個海岸保護區，海域 8 517 公頃。

漁農自然護理署按《郊野公園條例》管理郊野公園及特別地區。紅花嶺郊野公園於 2024 年 3 月 1 日劃定後，郊野公園增至 25 個，面積合計 43 997 公頃。22 個特別地區之中，公園範圍內 1 152 公頃已計入郊野公園面積；公園範圍外 845 公頃才另外加算，故合計 44 842 公頃。香港政府一站通寫郊野公園及特別地區約佔土地四成；精確公頃數以漁護署列表為準。2025 年郊野公園遊人約 1 100 萬人次。 四條長途遠足徑為官方表述：麥理浩徑由西貢至屯門；鳳凰徑環繞大嶼山；港島徑跨越港島五個郊野公園；衞奕信徑由赤柱至南涌。個別路徑長度、開放時間或山火封閉，本站未逐條核對，不填。 海岸公園按《海岸公園條例》指定。北大嶼海岸公園於 2024 年 11 月劃定後，共有 8 個海岸公園及 1 個海岸保護區（鶴咀），海域合計 8 517 公頃。海岸公園容許符合保育理念的康樂活動；海岸保護區禁止康樂活動。漁護署寫香港海洋總面積約 1 640 平方公里，與陸地總面積是兩套數字。

The Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department manages country parks and special areas under the Country Parks Ordinance. After Robin’s Nest Country Park was designated on 1 March 2024 there are 25 country parks totalling 43,997 hectares. Of 22 special areas, 1,152 hectares inside parks are already in the park total; only the 845 hectares outside parks are added, giving 44,842 hectares combined. GovHK says country parks and special areas cover about 40% of the land; use the AFCD hectare table for the area. Country parks had about 11 million visitors in 2025. AFCD names four long-distance trails: MacLehose Trail from Sai Kung to Tuen Mun; Lantau Trail around Lantau; Hong Kong Trail across five Island country parks; Wilson Trail from Stanley to Nam Chung. Trail lengths, opening hours and fire closures are not copied here until checked park by park. Marine parks are designated under the Marine Parks Ordinance. After North Lantau Marine Park in November 2024 there are 8 marine parks and 1 marine reserve (Cape D’Aguilar), covering 8,517 hectares of sea. Compatible recreation is generally allowed in marine parks and prohibited in the reserve. AFCD states a total sea area of about 1,640 km²; that is not added to land area here.
