On 20 June 1964, a passenger aircraft belonging to Civil Air Transport of Taiwan, originally scheduled to fly from Taiwan to Hong Kong, crashed in Taiwan, with none of the 57 people on board surviving; among the victims were Lu Yun-tao, head of Motion Picture & General Investment, and his wife, as well as Wang Chih-po and Chou Hai-lung.
