1955年8月9日，李鄭屋村徙置大廈地盤內有一座東漢墓葬被發現；及後，香港大學中文系教授林仰山率領學生展開發掘工作，從中出土58件東漢文物，涵蓋陶器與青銅器等。
On 9 August 1955, an Eastern Han tomb was discovered at the Lei Cheng Uk resettlement building site; subsequently Professor Lin Yang-shan of the Department of Chinese at the University of Hong Kong led students in excavation work, from which 58 Eastern Han artefacts were unearthed, including pottery and bronze ware.
