Wen Yi Qing Nian, first published on 16 September 1940, followed the cultural propaganda policy of the War of Resistance in its editorial direction, with content including literary creation, translated articles, reviews and news updates, and the journal finally ceased publication in September 1942.

1945年9月16日，港督府舉行在港日軍投降儀式。簽署投降書者為日本陸軍少將岡田梅吉、海軍中將藤田類太郎；見證人為夏慤少將，其身兼英國代表與中國戰區最高統帥代表。中方監禮者為潘華國少將。英國重新管治香港。
On 16 September 1945, a surrender ceremony for Japanese forces in Hong Kong was held at Government House. The surrender document was signed by Japanese Army Major General Umekichi Okada and Navy Vice Admiral Ruitaro Fujita; the witness was Rear Admiral Cecil Harcourt, representing both Britain and the Supreme Commander of the China Theatre. The Chinese supervisor was Major General Pan Huaguo. Britain re-administered Hong Kong.
